This was our first visit at Mel’s place. From the moment we walked in, we fell in love. Her place has so much character and is beautifully decorated. Everything is there to make you feel right at home. We brought our dog, and there were even dog bowls and a mat for the floor. Mel communicates well and promptly. We will definitely be staying here again.
We had a wonderful stay at this Prescott home! The location is absolutely perfect-it close to town and all the local spots, yet it felt tucked away, peaceful, and quiet. One of the biggest highlights was the surrounding area, which was full of wildlife. The host was very responsive and quick to help with any questions we had during our trip. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing Prescott getaway.
One of the coziest and most thoughtfully designed Airbnb stays we’ve ever had. The house is beautifully organized, fully stocked, and filled with warm details that make it feel truly special. We loved the large windows overlooking the forest, the soft lighting throughout the home, and relaxing by the fire pit under the tall pine trees in the evenings. The location feels private and peaceful, yet everything in Prescott is only about 10 minutes away. During our stay we saw deer almost daily and even a wild boar wandering by one morning. Mel was an exceptional host — communication, check-in, instructions, and recommendations were all seamless and incredibly thoughtful. One of my favorite moments was discovering the record player and randomly finding a song I loved as a child and had been searching for for years. We truly did not want to leave and would absolutely come back again.
To start with, the location was perfect for us. It was about a 1.5 mile drive to the Courthouse Square but felt like being much father away in the mountains. We had deer wander through the front yard and across the street several times. The house itself is a well-done mix between the original 1930s build, retro furniture and updated bathrooms & kitchen. Due to the original build, there is some fun quirkiness with original wavy glass in the windows, slightly different levels and an occasional hunt for a light switch, (hint, look at the ceiling in the kitchen). All needed amenities were available and seemed mostly brand new. Overall, we really enjoyed the house and had a great time in Prescott. It felt like we experienced three seasons in four days - a couple crisp spring days , a pretty warm "summer" day and one evening/night with a couple inches of snow. We would definitely stay here again!
